Netdiag...LDAP Test Failed

We just created another tree in our AD forrest. The first DC went in just
fine. At another site we installed another server and ran DCPromo on it.
From the start there were some problems,,, mostly I think with DNS.

When I try to force a relication from site and services it comes back with a
DNS error stating that the RPC server is unavailable. I ran a netdiag and
the LDAP test failed with the following error.

[WARNING] The default SPN registration for 'HOST/NYCDC50' is missing on DC
'PHLDC502.MaritimeSubro.com'.
[FATAL] The default SPNs are not properly registered on any DCs.

Not seeing much out there on this..

Doesn't sound like it had the permissions to create it's information on
phldc502
Why do you think the problem is mostly with dns? Were there other issues?
