On my network,we have a windows SBS 2000 and every user has windows xp pro,
and roaming user profiles, the profiles seem to work on the local network
fine. We also have a windows 2000 terminal server. But when logging in to
the terminal server, the roaming profiles do not seem to be picking up, (i.e.
the desktops, favorites, anre not the same.) And the user accounts in the
terminal server are setup as roaming. How can I force what should all ready
be automatic?

thanks in advanc,

Fore each of the respective users; you will also need to provide the Terminal
Servers profiles location. This is seperate than the users typical profile
directory. You can review these properties in the user properties settings in
ADUC.

you should be happy that this doesn't work as otherwise you'd have a large
potential for screwed up profiles since this is between two different OS's
and likely two very different installations (I doubt you have all the same
apps on the TS as on the XP clients)...

TS has it's own profile settings which you can configure for roaming between
other TS servers - so if you have multiple TS servers configured the same
way, a user could use the same profile on either machine. The path for the
roaming TS profile is configured on the "Terminal Services Profile" tab of a
user object (similar to using the "Profile" tab to configure the profile
path for the other roaming)
