Ntuser.pol is missing

According to Microsoft Windows Group Policy Guide there should be
%AllUsersProfile%/Ntuser.pol and %UserProfile%/Ntuser.pol

However I can only find NtUser.dat files. How do I get the .pol files?

NTUser.pol was only for the OLD style "System Policies" for NT4
(and User.pol for those with Win9x clients) -- they were placed in
the NetLogon share instead of the profile also.)

You should have NTUser.dat (or man) files where you describe.
(User.dat also if you have Win9x users.)
