We recently renamed our domain..... I know! Anyways, now when we log into
the domain controller and click on Domain Controller Security Policy we get
the message:

Failed to open Group Policy Object. You may not have appropriate rights.
Details.
The specified domain either does not exist or could not be contacted.

I get the feeling it is attempted to open the old domains policy. Where do
we change this?

I already did that. I can launch the Group Policy Editor and edit the
policies I have created. But click on the Domain Security Policy under
Administrative Tools fails
